Surveys to allow stakeholders to participate in the development of the HEY LNRS will go live. Initially there will be a survey specifically for the land management/agriculture sector and a general survey for individuals, groups and organisations.

We have been engaging with expert stakeholders and partners to help shape our LNRS for the Hull & East Riding. We have created a governance structure to oversee the process. This includes representatives from the DEFRA family, agriculture, environmental NGO's, local authorities and private sector.

Engagement Surveys Launch

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is one of 48 authorities across England responsible for developing a Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

We welcome you to take part in our surveys and come along to in-person stakeholder events o ensure the strategy meets the needs of our communities, farmers, businesses and of course our wildlife. This engagement process is taking place from October through to January 2024, we look forward to hearing from you.
